Missed the NASOG Journal Club Webinar? Now Available to Watch Online.

Updated: Aug 4

If you weren’t able to join the NASOG Journal Club webinar live on Wednesday evening, the full session is now available to view on the NASOG website. We encourage everyone with an interest in maternity care to take the time to watch this important discussion.

The session focused on the recent study published in the British Journal of O&G, which has generated media attention and raised some concerns across many stakeholders in maternity care.

During the webinar, the study co-author, Professor Steve Robson, unpacked the paper’s methodology, data sources and conclusions in a detailed and critical manner.

The following Q&A session addressed many of the doubts and challenges to the data that have emerged since the article’s publication.

The discussion clarifies some of the misconceptions that have been circulating and provides context that has been notably absent from media summaries. It also reinforces the importance of specialist-led care and the limitations of making broad assumptions from registry-level data alone.

Whether you are seeking reassurance, evidence to support conversations with colleagues and patients, or simply want to stay across current research, this webinar is a valuable professional resource.
